CARL C. SCHUESSLER, MD., F.A.C.O.G. |

Dr. Schuessler was born in Columbus, Georgia and
graduated from Columbus High School in 1960. He graduated
from Emory University in 1964 with a B.A. in biology. He then
graduated from Medical College of Georgia in 1968 and completed
his internship in 1969. He was awarded internship of the
year in 1969. He completed his residency in OB/GYN at the
Medical Center of Central Georgia in 1972. He was a Major in the
USAF Medical Corp from 1972-1974, serving as chief of the
department of OB/GYN from 1973-1974 at Robins AFB. He
began private practice in Macon, Georgia in 1974. He
served as Chief of Staff at HCA Coliseum Medical Center in 1986
and served as Chairman of the Department of OB/GYN at HCA
Coliseum Medical Center from 1996-1998. He is board
certified in obstetrics and gynecology. |

J. TERRELL POPE, MD., F.A.C.O.G |

Dr. Pope was born in Macon, Georgia, and grew up
in Monticello, Georgia. He is a graduate of Emory
University with a B.A. in Biology. He received his M.D.
degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Dr.
Pope Completed his internship and residency at Emory University
School of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia.
He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. He
joined Dr. Lon King and Dr. Carl Schuessler in this practice in
1978. Dr. Pope is a past president of the Georgia
Obstetrics and Gynecological Society. The focus of his
practice is gynecology and comprehensive health care for women. |

THOMAS E. KEHL, MD., F.A.C.O.G. |
 |
Dr. Kehl was born in Ashland, Ohio, and grew up
in Warner Robins, Georgia. He graduated from Duke
University with a B.A. in Psychology. He taught and
coached in Warner Robins for a brief period prior to attending
the Medical College of Georgia, where he earned a Master's
Degree in Anatomy and his M.D. Degree. He completed his
residency at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.
He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and currently
concentrates on gynecology and women's health. |

JOHN J. BARNES, MD |
 |
Dr. Barnes was born and raised in Atlanta,
Georgia, where his father practiced obstetrics and gynecology.
He received a BSE in Biomedical Engineering at Duke University
and then attended the Medical College of Georgia. He completed
a surgical internship in Birmingham, Alabama and completed his
obstetrics and gynecology training at Bowman Gray School of
Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He moved to Macon in
1995 to join Drs. Schuessler, Pope and Kehl in private practice.
He is a Pro-Life obstetrician. He and his wife, Kimberly, have
nine children. He is a member of
Ingleside Baptist church. Dr. Barnes’ practice interests include
high risk obstetrics, adolescent gynecology and urinary
incontinence. |

STEPHEN M. DURSO, MD |
 |
Dr. Durso was born in New York and grew up in Dallas, Texas. He
received a BA in Anthropology at the University of Miami School
of Medicine. He completed a four year OB/GYN residency program
at the Medical Center of Central Georgia and joined the practice
in 2001. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. His
interests include spending time with his family and three young
children, reading, gardening and traveling. His practice
interest include comprehensive gynecology, preventive healthcare
and high risk obstetrics. |

JERI WILLEBY, M.S., CNM |
 |
Jeri was born in Mobile, Alabama and grew up in
Warner Robins, Georgia. She is a Cum Laude graduate of The
Medical Center of Central Georgia School of Nursing. After
practicing as an RN in obstetrics for over 15 years, she
returned to school and graduated Cum Laude from Georgia
Southwestern University in Americus, Georgia. She then
attended Emory University in Atlanta and graduated Magna Cum
Laude with a Master of Science in Nursing. She is a member
of the American College of Nurse-Midwives and has practiced
midwifery in central Georgia since 1998. Midwives focus on
the promotion of health and prevention of disease blending the
disciplines of midwifery, nursing, public health, and medicine
to provide save, holistic care to women of all ages. For

Jeri resides in Houston County with her
husband Ronnie who teaches art there. They have two
children, Adam and Whitney Lauren.
